Art on the Marquee Opening Reception

For the fourteenth round of “Art on the Marquee,” Boston Cyberarts and the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) will be presenting the first-ever curated round, pairing traditional fine artists with digital artists to collaboratively create five new works for the 80-foot-tall multi-screen LED marquee outside the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in South Boston.
The artist pairings are Kristina Goransson (felt artist) and Rob Gonsalves (artist, inventor, engineer); Ria Brodell (painter) and Georgie Friedman (interdisciplinary artist); Kristin Breiseth (print maker) and Mark Stock (artist, scientist, programmer); Hakim Raquib (photographer) and Dennis Miller (composer, new media artist); and Jordan Piantedosi (painter, muralist) and Kawandeep Virdee (multimedia artist, engineer, scientist). An opening will be held at the BCEC, 415 Summer St. Boston, MA, on Tuesday, June 9 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
